The Symbol Treasure Trove

The Symbol Treasure Trove is a brand new charity shop run by The Symbol Trust in partnership with Symbol Family Support Services Ltd in the heart of Maidstone.

Located in the Royal Star Arcade, next to The Hop, Stitch and Jumper, The Symbol Treasure Trove is open Monday - Saturday, 09:30 - 16:30. 

Beautifully decorated and thoughtfully curated, The Symbol Treasure Trove offers a wide range of high-quality items. Shoppers can browse a mixture of designer and high street clothing, along with books and household accessories.

As well as operating as a high-end charity shop, the initiative plays an important role in the community. In partnership with Symbol Family Support Services, The Symbol Treasure Trove provides valuable employment experience for clients from The Hopyard, Symbol’s Everyday Life Activities Service. Participants are given the opportunity to work in a real retail environment, where they can develop workplace skills, build confidence, and improve communication with customers and colleagues.
